Blatella germanica (German cockroach): the aculeus is 1cm long. It is found in places with human activity (houses, restaurants and warehouses). It hides during the day and emerges during the night. The female lays 30-40 eggs.
Periplaneta americana (American cockroach): it is larger in size than Blatella germanica, as its length reaches 4cm. It hides in sewers, manholes and other dark places during the day. It breeds in areas where the temperature exceeds 27°C.
Blatta orientalis (Asian cockroach): it is one of the most common species that can be found in dwellings and sanitary establishments. It is easily recognized by its dark brown or black color and its large, robust body that reaches a length of 20-27mm.
